Aims/Priorities: This fund aims to assist parishes with the costs of building repairs.
Who can apply: Church of England consecrated church buildings within the Diocese of Manchester and licensed places of worship can apply.
Parishes must meet the following criteria:
- Must have paid the previous year’s Parish Share in full.
- The Parish’s latest accounts must be available.
- Faculty must be applied for where required.
- A minimum of two quotes must be provided (one if approved by a surveyor or architect).
- The church building has not received a Church Building Grant in the previous two calendar years.
- The proposed work must have the support of the Archdeacon.
- The project must have architect supervision where required.
Grant amount: Grants of up to £15,000 are available.

Deadline: 5 October 2026 for consideration at the 19 October 2026 panel meeting
