A huge congratulations to our member organisation, Creative Health and Wellbeing Ltd, who have successfully been awarded Action Together's Quality in Action Award

Creative Health and Welling Ltd are a Rochdale based, Community Interest Company who uses art, crafts and creativity to encourage people to experience well-being and reduce feelings of social isolation.

Erica Matthews from Creative Health said;

“Creative Health and Well Being initially registered to complete the QIA as a way of ensuring that our policies and procedures were healthy and robust however now we have completed the QIA we can reflect it actually delivered so much more than peace of mind. The process is thorough and allowed us to reflect on our business principles and how we co-design our services. We were able to, within a framework, work with service users to create our own identity and business aspirations in a much more reflective and genuine way. The support from Action Together was amazing and even though it was challenging at times I strongly recommend organisations to embrace the process. We learnt so much about our business and about our service users, our principles and our strengths and the areas we need to develop to reach our aspirations -  as a direct result of the process we have a new board member and lots of volunteers. I can not thank Action Together enough.”

The Quality in Action Award is a recognised framework for voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations working across Oldham, Rochdale and Tameside to prove their impact. The award is an independent, local seal of approval which publicly demonstrates commitment to safeguarding, quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Laura Augustine, Volunteer Support Officer at Action Together, said;

"I am so proud of the work Creative and Health and Wellbeing have put into achieving their Quality in Action Award. They have faced and overcome many barriers throughout this process and its been an absolute pleasure supporting them and watching them grow this last 18 months. Well deserved Award for such an amazing group."  -
