About Rooted Fusion CIC

The company’s activities will provide benefit to improve emotional wellbeing, confidence, connection and participation in community life. Participants will be supported to reconnect with themselves, improve confidence, reduce feelings of isolation and develop stronger peer relationships through supportive group experiences.

The CIC’s activities are intended to create lasting community benefit by supporting participants to become more connected, confident and engaged within their communities, reducing long-term isolation and improving wellbeing outcomes. A key benefit of the model is the development of sustained peer support and ongoing community connection beyond programme delivery. Participants are encouraged to maintain supportive relationships, helping to build stronger and more connected communities.

Rooted Fusion CIC has been established in response to increasing levels of isolation, reduced
emotional wellbeing, poor confidence, disconnection from community, and barriers to
accessing affordable creative wellbeing support.
Many people experience a loss of identity and confidence following significant life experiences
such as bereavement, trauma, addiction recovery, parenthood, relationship breakdown,
caring responsibilities, unemployment, poor mental wellbeing, or social isolation. Young
people who are disengaged from education or employment may also experience reduced
confidence, low self-esteem and limited access to supportive wellbeing environments.
The directors have identified a need for accessible, non-clinical, community-based wellbeing
support that combines creativity, connection, psychoeducation and nature-based approaches
to support emotional wellbeing and personal development.
Rooted Fusion CIC aims to provide preventative and early-intervention support that reduces
isolation, encourages confidence and self-expression, strengthens resilience, and reconnects
people with themselves and their wider communities.
