The women’s walking activity improves participants’ physical health and mental wellbeing by increasing regular movement and reducing stress and anxiety. It reduces social isolation by strengthening social connections and peer support, while building confidence to engage in community activities. The programme supports women to develop healthy routines, improve mood and energy levels, and feel more connected, empowered, and supported within their local community.
