• Healthy Food Workshop

    Workshop on healthy nutrition, toxic food, activity (making a salad together) discussion with attendees. Review all workshop goals, schedule of content, gather contributions from participants in terms of workshop content. Brainstorming about final event in terms of content, location and date. One to one advice sessions in four Romani dialects in private room regarding healthcare issues in Oldham. KaskoSan community advisors will be there to help Oldham Roma residents who need a hand with accessing healthcare services. They will offer advice, referrals, and translation. We will also gather and share data on the health problems and access challenges that the Roma community faces with NHS CCG.

    Time: Workshops (only for 10 attendees pre-selected by KaskoSan) and advice sessions (open to any Romani speakers in Oldham, pre-booking required) will run from 11am to 3pm at Hack Oldham on: -- 4th and 18th of April 2024 -- 2nd and 23rd of May 2024 -- 6th of June and 20th of June 2024 -- 4th of July 2024 -- final event will be held in September or October. Date, times and location will be announced in July 2024.
