• Mummy & Me Peer Support Group

A small, supportive peer support group for mums with mental health problems. The aim of the group is to be able to talk in confidence and promote healthy bonding and to get away from the stigma of asking for help. It is also a great opportunity to make friends in a non-judgemental environment. Now and again there will be activities e.g. singing time, messy play etc. Sometimes there will be people coming in to give talks. A relaxed environment for parents and their children, with space for 6-8 parents per week, who are welcome to bring somebody for support. Toys and games are aimed at children 0-5 years but older siblings are welcome. Parents are responsible for their children at all times. Cost: £1 (Adults) - Refreshments Available. (Ashton-under-Lyne)
