Joseph Jennings Court is a sheltered housing scheme for older people in the Waterloo area of Ashton Under Lyne. The residents live independently but there is a scheme manager who works 9- 5 incase the residents need any help. The Court has a community space where various activities are held. Some of the activities that have been held there include a dance sessions, quizzes, arm chair yoga, Christmas parties etc. The Court hold these activities which are also open to the wider community in order to ensure that the residents are able to meet socially and understand what they can participate in within the local community. We continue to develop the scheme as a social hub for the wider community of Waterloo.
