Tameside Voluntary Sector Summit
This Summit’s theme is Collaboration: bringing people, groups, organisations and sectors together to build stronger relationships and connections that support people to Live Well. Live Well is Greater Manchester's commitment to ensuring great everyday support is available in every neighbourhood, tackling inequalities through a community-led and system-enabled approach.
At the Summit, we will share some of the key developments underway in Tameside. This will include:
• Sharing key findings so far from the 2026 State of the Sector research, highlighting the scale, diversity and impact of the VCFSE sector across Tameside.
• Highlighting the renewed Greater Manchester VCFSE Accord, signed earlier this year by public sector leaders and the VCFSE sector, reaffirming a shared commitment to working together to improve outcomes for people and communities across Greater Manchester.
• Announcing details of the newly commissioned Live Well Community Navigation Service, which will support people to connect with community activities, groups and services while investing back into the VCFSE sector.
• Opening applications for the Tameside Communities Fund, designed to strengthen community-led prevention initiatives, reduce inequalities, and help local people live healthier and happier lives.
There will be opportunities for attendees to network, build new connections and take part in interactive workshop sessions, creating space for collaboration, shared learning and listening throughout the day.
