Tameside Volunteer Fair 2025 - Know Your Neighbourhood

This event will offer people the opportunity to find out more about what's happening in Tameside and how they can get involved.

There will be a variety of different community groups and charities hosting stalls at the event. They will be talking to people about the volunteering opportunities, activities and services that their organisation has to offer. 

Our informal, family friendly event will give you the chance to meet some of Tameside's wonderful voluntary organisations in person, to ask questions, and to find out how you might be able to make a difference by becoming one of their volunteers. 

We also aim to promote activities and services that people can access within their local community. We want to help people to quite literally know their neighbourhood better, to find out what is available to them, and to help them feel more connected with the area in which they live and other people that are live there.
