Safeguarding Adults Level 1 - Alerter training
Action Together are offering Safeguarding Adults Level 1 Alerter training for staff and volunteers of VCFSE organisations who work with adults at risk and want to improve their knowledge and practices around safeguarding adults from harm and abuse.
Aims of session:
To improve knowledge and practices around safeguarding adults from harm and abuse.
Learning Outcomes:
In this session you will:
- Learn about your specific role in responding to concerns, disclosure and allegations of abuse
- Learn about ten different types of abuse and describe what constitutes abuse
- Learn how to recognise the possible signs and symptoms of abuse
- Learn when, how, and to whom to report suspected abuse
Suitable for:
- Volunteers/staff who work with adults at risk of abuse
- Volunteers interested in working with adults at risk of abuse
- People working in health and social care settings in the community
Attendance information:
The training course is for VCFSE groups who are based in/operate in Oldham, Rochdale and Tameside.
You will need to register to attend the training session and there are a limited number of places available. The sessions will be delivered online via the Zoom platform and login details will be sent one day before the session to registered participants.
