#WednesdaysWeekly - The Youth Hub: Rochdale Borough Council Support for Young People

The DWP in partnership with Rochdale Council’s Work, Health and Skills Team have set up a Youth Hub to support young people aged 16 – 24 living in the borough to access training and employment opportunities.

 

What we offer:

  • Highly skilled Career Counsellors to help people access the most appropriate; training or employment opportunities
  • Additional support with any barriers people might have including things like; housing; benefits, money management and health and wellbeing
  • Links to mentors including business mentors for those considering self employment
  • Support from JCP youth employability coaches
  • Support to access Kickstart placements in the council and with key partners
  • Links to apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities
  • Access to accredited training courses including digital training
