Aims/priorities:

Our grants go directly to the child or young person and are shaped around their unique needs. Whether they’re dealing with crisis, instability, trauma or multiple disadvantages, our grants step in early, preventing things from getting worse and helping them move forward with confidence. We believe Buttle is the best children’s charity to deliver what’s important in childhood, just when they need it most.

A Buttle grant can cover the items and experiences most children in the UK take for granted, but which many families simply cannot afford, such as:

  • a bed
  • a laptop
  • school uniform
  • access to recreational extracurricular activities

Our local children’s charity grants are holistically designed, with the full picture of a child’s needs in mind.

Aged 2-18 living with parent/carer or Under 21 if estranged from both parents.
