The Arts Society Grants

Aims/priorities: Grants are available for UK-based charities to deliver projects and activities that make the arts more accessible and support the communities that keep them thriving. 

This fund aims to support projects and activities that enable access to the arts and heritage. 

The theme of the current funding round is Community Engagement. Proposed projects should meet all of the following criteria: 

  • Focus on public arts or heritage events and festivals.
  • Centre on community participation and cohesion.
  • Bring the arts or heritage into shared public places.

Who can apply? UK-registered charities with an annual turnover of less than £1 million whose main activity is in the arts, crafts, and heritage sectors, can apply.

Applicants must provide a copy of their latest annual accounts (no more than 12 months old), alongside their organisational bank details.

Grant amount: Grants of up to £3,000 are available.
