Action Together is thrilled to announce its continued success in securing a new long term contract to deliver Healthwatch Tameside for local residents.
Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council has awarded Action Together a contract to provide local Healthwatch services for a six-year period commencing in April 2024. As the voice of the local community, Healthwatch Tameside ensures that people’s views and experiences of health and social care services in Tameside are heard.
Tracey McErlain-Burns, Chair of the Healthwatch Tameside Advisory Board said:
“We are absolutely delighted to have been successful in securing this contract and look forward to building on our achievements so far working closely with local residents on health and care issues that matter most to them.”
Healthwatch Tameside is part of a national network of independent local organisations established by the Government across England.
