Support a range of Summer Reading Challenge activities across Oldham Libraries throughout the summer.
Volunteers will help create a welcoming and engaging environment for children and families by assisting with self-led craft activities, encouraging participation in the challenge, and providing support at library events.
This role may involve helping to set up and tidy activities, guiding participants, and acting as an extra pair of hands for staff during facilitated sessions and special events.
It's a great opportunity to build confidence, gain experience working with the public, and contribute to a fun community programme that promotes reading and creativity.
This will be an ongoing flexible volunteer opportunity throughout the summer. You will be provided with details regarding the events program and your volunteer hours will then be decided by yourself, the volunteer coordinator and childrens team.
