- Tasks: What will my role be as a Events Volunteer?
In this role you will:
- Concierge customers to seats and giving needed directions to customers
- Scan tickets on both the lower and upper auditorium door
- Fire watch during the shows ensuring all customers are safe and abiding rules
- Flyering leaflets and brochures after events
- Managing the doors the ensure none of our reusable cups leave the premises
- Always adhere to the volunteer code of conduct
- Help older patrons down/ up the stairs
- Undergo any relevant training for the role
In this role you will NOT:
- Be expected to do any bar work
- Clean up after the event
- Move heavy equipment and complete any changeovers
- Work excessive hours
- Liaise with event promotors
- Provide first aid to customers
