Soul Sisters is a volunteer-led charity supporting women affected by domestic abuse through peer support, advocacy, and creative activities. We want to reach more people and grow our community through effective engagement.
Role Overview
The Engagement Volunteer helps us connect with the community, raise awareness, and build relationships that support our work. You will assist with, outreach, storytelling, and encouraging new volunteers or service users to get involved.

- Tasks: Supporting social media content creation and scheduling
Helping with community outreach and relationship building
Assisting with newsletters, blogs, or website updates
Sharing stories and positive messages to promote Soul Sisters’ mission
Encouraging sign-ups for events, peer support groups, or volunteering
Gathering feedback from community members to inform our work
Representing Soul Sisters positively at community meetings or online forums - Training: Induction to Soul Sisters and social media guidelines
Training in trauma-informed communication and safeguarding
Regular check-ins and feedback from Communications Lead
Access to resources on digital engagement and storytelling
Peer support and wellbeing sessions - Requirements: Willing to travel by public transport or find own way to volunteering location
