Are passionate about helping others and making a positive impact? Join our dedicated team of volunteers and support our charity’s mission to end homelessness and create safe places where all people Are can flourish. This is a varied role where volunteers could do a combination of both roles, or focus upon fundraising or food delivery only. We’re currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to assist with fundraising and food donations to: Support Petrus Fundraising team Support Petrus Hub to provide meals for homeless, vulnerably housed and other vulnerable individuals in Rochdale What we’re looking for: • A friendly and approachable attitude • Good communication and teamwork skills • A willingness to get involved and make a difference • Availability for occasional events and activities (flexible scheduling) What you’ll gain: • A chance to give back to your community • Valuable experience in event coordination and charity work • New friendships and a sense of purpose • Recognition for your contributions Whether you can spare a few hours a week or help out at occasional events, your time and energy can make a real difference.

  • Tasks: Attend fundraising events – Help set up, and assist with exciting events that raise vital funds for our cause.

    Help to collect and distribute food donations to support Petrus Hub.
    Collect, sort, and distribute food donations to support Petrus Hub.
    Collecting and delivering donations - if you can drive and have access to a vehicle - mileage reimbursed
    Assisting with deliveries
  • Training: Food hygiene training provided where relevant
    Health and Safety training
  • Requirements: Own vehicle required, Driving license, Willing to travel by public transport or find own way to volunteering location
  • Interests: Addiction, Foodbanks, Homeless, Hunger, Poverty
  • Activities: Driving, Food banks, Fundraising, Hostels
  • DBS Check: Yes
