To assist the fundraising and marketing team at events throughout the borough. Meeting and greeting, helping to spread awareness of Rochdale Mind through leaflet distribution at events. helping event set ups, interacting with members of the public and chatting about our services.

- Tasks: - Providing practical support during events- setting up stalls, stans, tables, managing refreshments, directing attendees, helping activities run smoothly.
• Be involved in greeting, welcoming and registering the general public to our events.
• Representing our Charity- Positively promote Rochdale and District Minds services and create friendly atmosphere at events.
• Assist the Fundraising and Marketing team in setting up events across the borough and helping throughout the event duration.
• Interact with the general public and give relevant information and signpost to other services if appropriate.
• post event tasks- assist with tidying up, gathering feedback, helping evaluate events success. - Training: Adult, child, safeguarding, data protection, lifting and handling,
NB. This volunteer opportunity is to be available when we are involved in/running events so is not on a regular daily/weekly/monthly basis. - Requirements: Willing to travel by public transport or find own way to volunteering location
