Soul Sisters is a domestic abuse charity dedicated to empowering survivors and their children to live independent lives, free from violence and fear. Guided by our core values of trust, respect, inclusion, compassion, and empowerment, we provide a safe and supportive space for those who need us.
Role Purpose:
As a Volunteer Fundraiser, you will play a vital role in supporting Soul Sisters’ mission by helping to secure the funds needed to continue delivering our life-changing services. Your efforts will directly contribute to empowering survivors of domestic abuse and ensuring the sustainability of our charity.
Key information
- Start Date: 6th January 2025
- End Date: 20th December 2027
- Volunteer: Weekly, Monthly
- Tasks: Assisting in the planning and delivery of fundraising events and campaigns.
Researching potential funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and donations.
Helping to write funding applications and proposals (with support from our team).
Building relationships with local businesses, community groups, and individuals to generate support.
Promoting Soul Sisters’ fundraising activities through social media and other channels.
Recording and tracking donations and ensuring donors are thanked appropriately. - Training: Free Training: Full guidance to help you develop the skills needed for the role.
Mentor Support: Ongoing support from experienced team members.
