Developing Recovery Communities - Rochdale Borough

Aims/priorities: Rochdale Borough Council have received Section 31 grant funding for additional investment in substance misuse treatment. Part of this includes funding to support the development and expansion of recovery community and peer support networks to increase the visibility of recovery and support social integration.

Applications should meet at least one of the following priorities:

We recognise that community action continues to take place across the Borough in response to the pandemic.  We value voluntary, community, faith-based and social enterprise sector organisations, mutual aid groups and individuals supporting communities through their action. We want to encourage and support this action.

Action Together COVID-19 Community Response Fund

At Action Together we recognise community action is taking place across the boroughs of Oldham, Rochdale and Tameside & Glossop, and we want to encourage and support this action. 

We are delighted to let you know that we are launching a Community Response Fund that is available for Oldham, Rochdale and Tameside & Glossop groups from the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector working on a COVID-19 Community Response and meet either of these priorities:

Sea-Changers Coastal Foundation Fund

Aims/Priorities: The purpose of the Fund is to prevent or reduce negative impacts on UK coastal and marine environments and species by reducing marine litter, through the provision of well-located coastal water fountains that will significantly reduce the use of non-reusable plastic drinks bottles.

Who can apply? Applications are welcome from all types of not-for-profit organisations in the UK who have identified a need and are well-placed to get the stakeholder involvement needed to make the project a success.

McCarthy Stone Foundation - Dementia Grants Programme

Aims/priorities: The programme aims to support organisations providing services for people over 65 years old with dementia in areas of deprivation affecting older people in Great Britain. Memory cafes and dementia clubs are supported.

Who can apply? Community organisations, registered charities and other groups (including CICs limited by guarantee) working in England, Scotland or Wales may apply. Exempt charities will also be considered.

Music for All - Community Project Funding

Aims/priorities: The grants programme aims to give a helping hand to projects and initiatives across the UK that are seeking to bring music to their communities. The funding is for groups that need assistance to fulfil their potential in developing truly sustainable music programmes.

Who can apply? Groups, schools and organisations that are bringing music to their communities in the UK can apply.

Priority will be given to applicants who are most in need of help.

Postcode Neighbourhood Trust- North of England

Aims/Priorities: The funding aims to support smaller charities and good causes in the north of England to make a difference to their community for the benefit of people and planet.

Who can apply? Local charities and other not-for-profit organisations based and working in the north of England can apply.

Aims/priorities: The Peter Harrison Foundation supports projects working with children, young people and adults who are disadvantaged or with disabilities. It offer small and major grants to charities and community amateur sports clubs in the UK and south east of England under the following two grant programmes:
