Aims/priorities: Oldham Council working with Action Together would like to invest in up to 10 VCFSE organisations to be trained to deliver the Parent Puzzle Programme for parents / carers of children under 5 years. This investment will also support the delivery of the Programme by the trained organisations.
Who can apply: Groups and organisations can submit an expression of interest if they:
- are a voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) group locally rooted or actively working in the borough of Oldham; and
- are a member of Action Together CIO (they can register for free to become a member here); and
- are formally constituted; and
- have a bank account in the organisation’s name requiring at least two unrelated signatories; and
- already support families with children under 5 in their communities.
Grant amount: A maximum investment of £10,000 will be available to VCFSE organisations which can be used for the following purposes:
- £2,500 for staff time to attend training, coaching sessions and any other staff expenses
- £1,500 for each 4 week course delivered (subject to a maximum of 5) – to cover the costs of delivering each session including room hire, refreshments, 2 facilitators, administration, facilitator travel expenses and resources

please contact funding@actiontogether.org.uk and we will discuss the easiest way for you to do this. - If you are using an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tool to help you to complete the expression of interest form, please be aware that whilst it can be a very useful tool, it often produces generic and inaccurate content. Using AI can be a helpful starting point, but please review content that has ben generated using AI to ensure that it reflects the organisation’s unique experiences, skills and community and that it is accurate.
Deadline: The deadline for submitting an expression of interest is 12 noon on Monday 12 October 2026.
