National Archives - Resilience Grants

Aims/priorities: Funding is intended to increase organisational capacity for archives services and provide long-term solutions that will help resilience in the sector.

Who can apply? Public sector bodies, not-for-profit organisations including registered charities, and for-profit organisations including business archives can apply.

Grant amount: Up to £20,000 are available for projects lasting up to one year.

Application process: There is a one-stage application process.

Applications for Resilience Grants will be open twice in the 2025-2026 financial year.

The application windows are:

  • Round 1 - opens 16 June 2025 and closes 18 July 2025 for consideration at the August 2025 panel meeting.
  • Round 2 - opens 24 November 2025 and closes 15 January 2026 for consideration at the February 2026 panel meeting.
