Job: Caseworker - Homeless Accommodation

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Case Worker to join our team within a homeless accommodation service. You will play a vital role in supporting residents to achieve independence, stability, and improved wellbeing.

This is a rewarding but challenging role that requires strong communication skills, resilience, and a commitment to safeguarding and person-centred support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of residents and provide structured, person-centred support
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review individual support plans
  • Complete accurate case notes, reports, and risk assessments
  • Support residents to access external services (healthcare, housing, employment, benefits, etc.)
  • Promote independence, life skills, and positive outcomes
  • Maintain clear and professional records in line with organisational policies
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies
  • Manage challenging situations in a calm and professional manner

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of A-Level standard (or equivalent) or higher
  • Strong ability to write clear, accurate reports and documentation
  • Good level of numeracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently and prioritise workload
  • IT literacy
  • Understanding of homelessness, safeguarding, and support work

Pay: From £14.21 per hour
