Free Digital Skills training in Rochdale!

The Lloyds Bank Academy provides free digital skills training to individuals, charities and businesses looking to grow their knowledge and confidence across a broad range of digital skills, with the aim of ensuring they don’t fall into a large population of people in the UK who are ‘digitally excluded’.  In the modern world, being digitally excluded has a known negative impact on many areas of a person’s life, such as the inability to access vital services, save money on things like utilities or even lower their chances of securing employment. From a business or charity perspective, this could mean not being able to reach a huge segment of their target customers or not taking full advantage of free tools available to them, such as social media and data analytics.

Working in partnership with KYP, Lloyds Bank Academy have organised some digital skills events focusing on a number of topic areas, hosted at KYP’s superb premises in Rochdale. Further details of these sessions and the links to sign up are below. The sessions are open to people of all ages and backgrounds. We’re hoping that this will be a ‘pilot’ for further activity on these and a range of topics in future.
