PAPYRUS – the only national charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide, is delivering a series of suicide awareness sessions in your community. Useful to anyone who comes into contact with young people under 35 in a professional, voluntary or personal capacity.
The 90minute session aims to:
- Understand how personal and community beliefs about suicide affect stigma
- Raise awareness of suicide as a serious community health problem
- Make suicide a community concern by facilitating an open and honest talk about suicide
- Increase personal action and commitment to suicide prevention
- Support the spread of training opportunities and networking activities
