We at Care Bridge Alliance provide practical support and advocacy for people facing crisis and disadvantage, mainly across the Oldham and neighnouring areas. Our activities are for for everyone from young children, to teenagers, through to all adults, from all walks of life, from across our diverse communities. Literally, anyone, facing any obstacles in life, for families and adults experiencing low income, isolation, housing instability, unemployment, or barriers accessing services. In practice, our services include 1-to-1 support sessions, referrals and signposting, help with forms and appointments, wellbeing check-ins, and light-touch crisis support (food essentials and basic guidance) to help people stabilise, stay safe, and move forward, and all this to help strengthen our communities.
