Aims/priorities: This fund aims to support community projects that celebrate, commemorate, and increase connections to the places they live.
Who can apply? The following can apply:
- Constituted community groups.
- Registered charities.
- Companies that are limited by guarantee.
- PTA or friends of school groups.
- Social enterprises.
- Community interest companies (CICs).
Groups must provide:
- A copy of their governing document.
- An organisational bank account in the name of the group with at least two unrelated signatories.
- A copy of their most recent annual accounts, or record of income and expenditure (or a spending plan and recent bank statement for new groups).
- A copy of their safeguarding policy for working with children under 18/vulnerable adults.
- A copy of their in-date employer and public liability insurance certificate.
- A list of the names of their management committee/trustees (with a minimum of three unrelated management committee members).
Grant amount: A total of £125,000 is available across two phases.
A total of £50,000 is available in the first phase.
Grants of up to £5,000 are available.
Application process: Applicants will be notified of any decision made at the end of July/start of August 2025.
