Introduction to Risk Assessment Training

Action Together are offering an Introduction to Risk Assessment training session to groups who want to improve their awareness of what risk assessment is and the prevention processes that your organisation can follow. The course will be delivered by Tameside Metro Borough Council (TMBC) but is accessible to all VCFSE groups across Oldham, Rochdale and Tameside.

 

Aims of session: 

This session will provide you with an awareness of what a risk assessment is and the prevention processes that your organisation can follow.

Learning Outcomes:

In this session you will: 

•        Learn about why we complete risk assessments

•        Recognise how to identify hazards at work

•        Learn about the 5 steps to risk assessment

•        Learn how to complete risk assessments for your area of responsibility

Suitable for: 

  • VCFSE volunteers/staff who would like to learn more about risk assessmnets
  • VCFSE staff who are responsible for managing the risks associated to projects and public facing interventions
  • VCFSE trustees who are responsible for managing risk across their organisation

Attendance information:

The training course is for VCFSE groups who are based in/operate in Oldham, Rochdale and Tameside.

You will need to register to attend the training session and there are a limited number of places available. The sessions will be delivered online via the Zoom platform and login details will be sent one day before the session to registered participants.
