The purpose of this role is to inspire and support the next generation of champions—both in the ring and in life. By using boxing as a tool for positive youth and personal development, volunteers help young people build confidence, discipline, and resilience. The role contributes to the wider community by empowering individuals to reach their full potential inside and outside the gym, fostering growth, wellbeing, and a strong sense of belonging.

- Tasks: Key Tasks
• Assist with coaching sessions: Support lead coaches in delivering boxing drills, fitness routines, and technical training.
• Work with young people: Encourage participation, motivate individuals, and help build confidence both inside and outside the ring.
• Demonstrate techniques: Show correct boxing skills (stance, footwork, punches, defense) and ensure safe practice.
• Supervise activities: Oversee warm‑ups, sparring, and conditioning exercises to maintain safety and discipline.
• Promote positive values: Reinforce respect, discipline, resilience, and teamwork during sessions.
• Provide mentorship: Act as a role model, offering guidance and support to young people in their personal development.
• Maintain a safe environment: Ensure equipment is used properly, follow health and safety guidelines, and report any issues.
• Support events and competitions: Assist with preparation, logistics, and encouragement during club events or matches.
• Collaborate with the team: Work alongside other volunteers and staff to deliver a welcoming, supportive environment. - Training: Training Provided for Volunteer Boxing Coaches

Regular feedback, shadowing experienced coaches, and continuous development opportunities. - Requirements: Relevant qualification or training, Willing to travel by public transport or find own way to volunteering location
