To support Frankie & Neeve’s Road Safety Academy in delivering interactive road-safety workshops, creative youth projects, and community education events across Oldham, Rochdale and Greater Manchester. Volunteers help us educate children and young people contributing to our mission of preventing further road tragedies. Some roles available include helping us grow our charity’s visibility through marketing, social media, photography and filming.

- Tasks: • Support the delivery of Early Years, Primary, Secondary and SEND-friendly road-safety workshops.
• Help set up, run and pack away equipment (VR headsets, go-karts, props, activity stations).
• Help children and young people engage in activities, games and demonstrations.
• Assist with youth mentoring or creative educational projects where needed.
-Support charity fundraising days, community events and public engagement stands.
- Optional creative tasks depending on skills:
– Capturing photos or video of workshops and events
– Supporting our social media channels with content ideas
– Assisting with marketing, design or promotional campaigns
-Represent the charity with kindness, patience and clear communication. - Training: All volunteers receive a full induction and are supported throughout their involvement. Training includes:
• Introduction to the charity, our mission and our story.
• Safeguarding training relevant to the volunteer’s role.
• Workshop delivery briefing and shadowing opportunities.
• Optional guidance for volunteers helping with photography, filming or social media (brand guidelines, safeguarding rules for imagery, etc.).
• Ongoing support from the Event Coordinator and Lead Facilitators.
Volunteers are always supervised and will never be responsible for children alone. - Requirements: Willing to travel by public transport or find own way to volunteering location
