The duties below are split between the two leaders. They share:
• Organising the weekly activities i.e. one leader being responsible each week
• Planning the yearly programme and tidying the cupboards
Each leader also has their own responsibility:
• Finances – Monzo bank account, subs message and chasing missing subs
• Waiting list/new starters/leavers and contact with the Brownie leader, and liaison with church
Ideally the right volunteer will be able to commit to long term volunteering as this post requires that. The volunteers will be required during term time only

- Availability: Wednesday PM, Wednesday Evening
- Tasks: • Plan weekly activities – usually plan for the year (using previous years’ ideas)
• Send out message before the start of each new half-term regarding meeting dates, subs (paid upfront each half-term), any up-and-coming dates for diaries e.g. church parade – Facebook and WhatsApp
• Send messages as required – up and coming events/dates e.g. church parade, Christmas Fair etc; info to parents regarding asks for activities e.g. wear pjs for a pj party
• Organise/purchase the weekly activities

• Set out the activity – before letting the girls in
• Take register as girls enter
• Welcome song and explain the activity
• Do the activity – take photos
• Show & Tell
• Lord’s Prayer, sing the Grace and Ladybird song
• Award Ladybird trophy and close the meeting
• Tidy up, check toilets
Post meeting
Message as appropriate on Facebook and WhatsApp – what the girls have done during the meeting etc
Each half-term/term
• Check subs have been paid and chase as required – Monzo bank account
• Check waiting list – new starters and contact parents offering places
• Check girls nearing age 7/are age 7 for being offered places at Brownies – work with the Brownie leader and parents
