Every Friday for ten weeks in term time only- ESOL Conversational Cafe from 11.30 till 12.30. This is a new initiative aimed at teaching basic English skills to people for whom English is not their first language. It is taught in an informal and non- intimidating cafe setting. We need volunteers to chat with our learners on a one to one basis following the initial input from the teacher. It is an ideal opportunity for people who would enjoy the satisfaction of teaching in a fun way to people who are keen to learn and will see immediate benefits from their efforts. Our volunteers will be fully supported at all times and work as part of a team.
