Soul Sisters is a volunteer-led organisation supporting women and families affected by domestic abuse through peer support, creative expression, community connection, and advocacy. Our office and meeting spaces are a central hub for donations, materials, events, and sessions — and we need your help to keep them running smoothly.
Key information
- Start Date: 28th July 2025
- Volunteer: Weekly, Fortnightly
- Availability: Monday AM, Monday PM, Tuesday AM, Tuesday PM, Wednesday AM, Wednesday PM
- Tasks: Organising storage shelves and ensuring donated items are sorted and accessible
Helping with stock checks of supplies (stationery, art materials, refreshments, hygiene products, etc.)
Maintaining tidy, clear workspaces and meeting rooms
Supporting the team with basic office organisation (filing, sorting leaflets, etc.)
Light cleaning duties such as vacuuming, wiping surfaces, emptying bins, restocking toilet paper/handwash
Helping identify any broken items or maintenance needs
Creating a calm and safe-feeling space for service users and volunteers - Training: We are committed to supporting and valuing all our volunteers. As part of this role, you will receive:

Training around trauma-informed spaces, safeguarding basics, and confidentiality
Optional access to wider personal development opportunities (e.g. peer support, self-care, creative workshops)
Volunteer wellbeing sessions and social connection opportunities
No previous experience needed — just a willingness to learn and help. - Requirements: Willing to travel by public transport or find own way to volunteering location
