Our community engagement work is crucial for us to reach more communities and a wider range of people from a variety of backgrounds. We want to ensure that we are a charity accessible and here for all affected by bowel cancer and to do this we need passionate volunteers to help us link to communities at a grassroots level. This will enable us to gain more insight, increase awareness of symptoms and awareness of our services. This is a new role so will require a level of input from you to shape the role as it develops. You don’t need to have had bowel cancer to volunteer in this role, but an interest in our cause is essential.
