Our mentoring roles are 1:1 sessions with young people. We are a charity that supports families who have been involved with domestic abuse.
The young people on our project have a youth development worker that works with them, visiting them weekly. Then one of our volunteer mentors support them weekly as well, taking them out in the community. Being a listening ear for them, being a good role model and offering them support.
Our mentors are given just one young person to work with, who they will meet up with once a week.
