Petrus Community are a homelessness charity providing support services to people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. Our aim is to end homelessness and create safe spaces where all people can flourish.
An integral part of our day services is to provide a welcoming breakfast at Petrus Hub, Petrus Hub provides a range of services to people with multiple and complex needs, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, rough sleepers or who are socially isolated.
We provide refreshments and breakfast between the hours of 9am – 10am Monday to Saturday, hours of volunteering would be from 8.30 - 10.30am.
The purpose of this role is to provide support to the team at Petrus Hub to support the provision of this service.

- Tasks: 2.1 General food preparation and setting up of dining area prior to breakfast service
General washing up/ use of dishwasher, keeping work areas clean – including clearing up after breakfast service. Customer service: Assisting volunteers and staff to provide a welcoming environment whilst serving breakfast and refreshments to our service users. - Training: Treat you with dignity and respect.
Provide you with the necessary support to enable you to carry out your role.
Provide you with ongoing support through a variety of methods to suit you.
Ensure a safe working environment and provide you with health & safety guidance.
Where relevant provide you with appropriate personal protective equipment.
