Rochdale Social Value Learning Lab

Our Rochdale Social Value Learning Lab is a four-week, in-person programme that is currently midway through its delivery.

The Rochdale Social Value Learning Lab supports social enterprises to strengthen their understanding of social value, and gain practical skills in capturing and communicating their wider impact. The programme includes action learning sets, giving participants space to exchange experiences, explore challenges together and identify workable solutions.

Facilitated by Turn Up the Value and led by Karen Smith, the initiative responds to a growing need for social economy organisations to clearly evidence the social and economic difference they make to their communities.

Karen shared  with us just how the programme has been going:

"It's been great to work with Action Together to deliver this training. The social enterprises who have participated have taken a lot from the sessions so far, not only learning from myself, but from each other."

This project is funded by UKSPF E26 Social Economy Programme, an initiative that supports individuals and organisations throughout Greater Manchester to design and develop their Social Economy offer, helping them to strengthen their capacity and increase their impact across communities.
