Our Digital Help Service: Bridging the Divide in Oldham and Greater Manchester FavourCare Digital Help offers warm, person-centred support to residents of Oldham and Greater Manchester who are experiencing digital exclusion. We exist to overcome specific barriers and ensure everyone can access vital online services, maintain connections, and improve their quality of life. Our support is tailored for specific community groups, including: Older Adults: We build confidence and skills for navigating essential online services such as healthcare, banking, and local council services. Vulnerable and Isolated Individuals: We help those whose mobility, health, or social circumstances restrict access, enabling them to easily find information and maintain social connections digitally. Immigrant Communities: We provide culturally sensitive, non-legal assistance to help overcome language barriers, access essential services, and navigate complex online processes, including immigration forms. Low-Income Residents: We provide crucial digital access and skills for financial management, job seeking, and securing essential needs like cheaper utilities. We understand that lacking basic digital skills can be a significant obstacle to crucial communication, healthcare, housing, and social connection. FavourCare Digital Help is here to close that gap.
