Oldham Positive Action Network end of year celebration event

You are invited to the OPAN End of Year Celebration on Wed 26^th November, 10:30-12:30pm at The Honeywell Centre.

This event is broken into two sections:

SECTION 1: A time to hear what’s been happening including good news stories, opportunities to get involved and challenges.

SECTION 2: An opportunity to bring your skills, share your ideas and help shape where we are headed next.

Section 2: We are going to be splitting into 3 areas for exploration. These are 3 challenges that OPAN has identified it wants to explore; 3 areas of opportunity for doing something experimental, creative and pioneering! These areas are:

1 – Creating spaces of belonging: how can we help people to feel connected to OPAN and part of it? How do we create spaces, places or opportunities for belonging?

2 – Identifying emerging leaders: we want to be investing in, resourcing and equipping emerging leaders in Oldham. How can we do that in a creative and empowering way?

3 – Telling the story: ‘I am Oldham’. We want Oldhamer’s to be empowered to share their stories. How can we create new ways of doing this?

Please come along with your ideas and we will vote on our favourite ideas to take forwards!
