Rochdale Women's Forum

Rochdale Women’s Forum is a new, refreshed space launching in 2026 to bring women, organisations and partners together from across the borough. Evolving from the Rochdale Women’s Network following community feedback, the Forum offers a welcoming environment for connection, networking and information-sharing on the issues that impact women’s lives in Rochdale. The Forum will meet quarterly, each meeting will include a Spotlight Session, giving organisations the opportunity to showcase services, engage directly with attendees and gather insight, alongside dedicated time for networking and collaboration. Whether you’re a community member, professional or organisation, the Rochdale Women’s Forum is your space to connect, share and help shape positive change for women in Rochdale.

Women’s Foundation group:

The Foundation Group is a small number of female leaders organising for change, starting with the growth of the #WithYou Campaign - A Rochdale Borough-wide campaign to end violence against women and girls by challenging harmful behaviours, sharing stories, and promoting allyship.:

Foundation Group Statement of intent:

We are a group of community leaders united in our mission to end violence against women and girls in Rochdale. Facilitated by Action Together, we meet each month to share ideas and plan our next steps. We welcome a wider network of allies to help shape our strategy, celebrate progress, and grow community involvement.

#WithYou we will end violence against women and girls.

What does systems change mean to us?

Systems change is confronting root causes of issues (rather than symptoms) by transforming structures, customs, mindsets, power dynamics and policies, by strengthening collective power through the active collaboration of diverse people and organisations.

Join us in making a positive change for the women of Rochdale, to enable them to move freely, feel safe and flourish.

Our quarterly meetings welcome voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations, partners and activists working to support people and communities around women’s priorities across Rochdale.
