Aims/priorities: The Foundation will support local charities providing public benefit in Stockport, Cheshire and Greater Manchester, focused on the prevention and relief of poverty and community development.
Who can apply? Applications will be considered if they meet the following criteria:
- Be a registered charity or community organisation based in Stockport, Cheshire, or Greater Manchester.
- Have not received any monies from the Foundation within the previous two years.
- Be able to demonstrate that their application aligns with the Foundation’s objectives.
- Have an annual turnover of less than £250,000.
Grant amount: Up to £5000 can be requested. Charities can apply for more than one grant but this must not exceed £5000 within a 2 year period.
Application process: Please read application criteria before applying for a grant.
- All applications will be reviewed by the Trustees, who will notify successful charities by email within four weeks of the closing date.
- Please provide details of how the funding will be used, including a full breakdown of costs for the project.

The following are not eligible for funding:
- Groups that are not registered charities.
- Charities that have not submitted their annual returns to the Charity Commission or Companies House.
- Charities with an annual turnover of more than £250,000.
- Requests for grants greater than £5000.
- Groups that are not located within Stockport, Cheshire, and Greater Manchester.
- Administrative costs.
