A monthly network for voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations (VCFSE) operating in the Oldham. The purpose of the forums is to enable voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector groups and organisations within local communities to come together to:
- share information,
- make ‘asks and offers’,
- develop new ideas and connections
- find out what else is happening in your area
- meet those in the know and get support from Action Together
By using your knowledge, skills, networks, and connections of assets in the community, VCFSE organisations are then better able to raise awareness of the on-going experiences and issues that affect local people. It is also an opportunity to develop collaboration between VCFSE and public sector organisations.
There is a Community Gathering for each of the five districts of Oldham:
