GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) IMPACT Awards

Aims/priorities:

The GSK IMPACT Awards are an annual programme, funded by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) as part of the company’s commitment to promote community health and wellbeing. The awards have been running since 1997, and are organised and managed in partnership with The King’s Fund, a leading independent health charity working to improve health and social care.

The IMPACT Awards recognise and reward small to medium-sized charities in the UK that are doing excellent work to improve people's health and wellbeing.

Places of Worship Protective Security Funding Scheme

Aims/priorities: The scheme is part of the Government's Hate Crime Action Plan. The scheme is intended to reduce the risk and impact of hate crime at places of worship and associated faith community centres. Funding is available for protective security measures to places of worship that have been subject to, or are vulnerable to a hate crime attack.

Hate crimes are any crimes motivated by hostility on the grounds of race, religion, sexual orientation, disability or transgender identity. This scheme is focusing on religion.

Eat it Up Fund

Aims/priorities: This new grant fund is aimed at finding and supporting creative approaches to reducing food waste.

The fund will support UK registered organisations with an early-stage food waste project with potential for impact at scale.

The funding is for initiatives that do one or more of the following:

National Archives - Engagement Grants

Aims/priorities: Funding is intended to allow organisations to connect archives with their communities and the wider public in alignment with key moments of national significance.

Who can apply? Applications are accepted from public sector bodies, not-for-profit organisations including registered charities, and for-profit organisations including business archives.

Archives are encouraged to propose partnership projects and submit consortium applications.

Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust - Transformational Grants

Aims/priorities: Funding is intended to deliver permanent and significant changes or improvements for Armed Forces communities, where there are hidden needs not being met by current service provision.

Who can apply? Charities in the UK that have been registered for at least two years are eligible to apply.

Groups must be able to demonstrate clear evidence of experience working with the specific Armed Forces community that the application would support.

Which? Fund

Aims/priorities: This funding will support research projects aiming to improve understanding of the specific consumer harms diverse and disadvantaged communities experience, and develop evidence-based solutions.

GM Mental Wellbeing Grants

Aims/priorities:  As part of the fourth year of the GM Mental Wellbeing grants, funded by the Greater Manchester Integrated Care Partnership (GMICP), they are excited to share that the second round of micro-grants is now open. 

Grants are available for small (income less than 75k) voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations in Greater Manchester to support the mental wellbeing of people from communities of identity or experience, including:
