GM Mental Wellbeing Grants

Aims/priorities:  As part of the fourth year of the GM Mental Wellbeing grants, funded by the Greater Manchester Integrated Care Partnership (GMICP), they are excited to share that the second round of micro-grants is now open.

Grants are available for small (income less than 75k) voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations in Greater Manchester to support the mental wellbeing of people from communities of identity or experience, including:

  • Carers
  • People from communities who have experienced racial inequality
  • People living with long term physical or mental health conditions
  • People who identify as LGBTQ+
  • People experiencing socioeconomic crisis
  • Disabled people
  • Military veterans
  • People who are unemployed
  • Socially isolated older people

They are also able to provide funding for your organisation to support the mental wellbeing of staff and volunteers in your organisation.

They are looking to fund applications that support people to participate in at least two of the Five Ways to Wellbeing. This includes five areas of activity; creating connections, getting active, 'taking notice' - wellbeing, learning new things and 'giving' - taking part in social and community life.

The grants can be used for a variety of purposes which could include; equipment, online solutions, printing, distribution, staff-time and facilitators. We would expect that applications will reflect good value for money.

They would expect that activities will be delivered by the end of June 2024.

They aim to communicate decisions to applicants within four weeks of submission.
