Action Together are delighted to congratulate our member and friend Ehinor Otaigbe-Amedu, on receiving the prestigious MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in King Charles III's New Years Honours list for 2024 for her outstanding services to women in Greater Manchester.
Ehinor Otaigbe-Amedu, is the CEO and Founder of Wonderfully Made Woman, a charity credited with contributions in creating a safe and interactive environment for women and girls to be educated, empowered, and encouraged to thrive and live fulfilling lives.
Wonderfully Made Woman has groups across Bolton and Manchester.
Action Together have been working with Ehinor and members of the Wonderfully Made Woman team as they have established a base in Middleton, at The Lighthouse Project. The group meet on Tuesday morningd from 10am to 12pm, to sing, share and celebrate.
Our Community Development Worker, Fi Oakes, stated;
"This is such a worthwhile group and it has been a privilege to be working together with them in Middleton."
