Aims/priorities: Thomas Wall II created his Trust in 1920 for the “encouragement and assistance of educational work and social service”. Today, the Trust views communication skills as critical capabilities for people who want to improve their employment prospects, self-confidence, resilience, and life chances.

The funding is for projects that are working to develop communication skills for people from disadvantaged groups who want to improve their employment prospects.

Instagram Small Business Mentorship Programme

Aims/priorities: Small Business Britain has partnered with Instagram to offer businesses an opportunity to benefit from their new UK Mentorship Programme.

Participants will learn about content creation, marketing and social commerce from renowned creators, successful founders and Instagram experts.

Those who apply but are not picked for this mentorship programme will still receive a specially curated digital toolkit of best practice guides for social commerce for Instagram.

The Adamson Trust

Aims/priorities: The funding aims to support organisations and registered charities that provide assistance with the cost of holidays or respite breaks for disabled children (aged 3 to 17 years) with physical, mental, or emotional impairments. Funding is available for the costs associated with holidays and/or respite breaks. The holiday must be taken by the day preceding the child's 18th birthday.

the7stars Foundation

Aims/priorities: the7stars foundation has been set up to support challenged and vulnerable young people in the UK.  The grant funding is intended to support young people challenged by abuse and addiction, those who are young carers, and those who find themselves without a safe home.

VCSE Health and Wellbeing Fund 2021-22

Aims/priorities: The aim of the Fund is to promote equality and reduce health inequalities by building the evidence base about good practice, sharing lessons and widening the adoption of interventions with a proven track record. Each funding round focusses on a different theme. Previous rounds have focused on social prescribing, children’s and young people’s mental health and starting well.

The current round focuses on paediatric respiratory infections.

Greater Manchester Answer Cancer Fund

Aims/priorities: The funding is intended to support local VCSE (voluntary, community and social enterprise) organisations to raise awareness of cancer screening and possible symptoms and causes of cancer. 

The funding is for events that help increase the awareness of cancer screening as well as boosting the numbers of people signing up as “Answer Cancer Champions” by running local level awareness-raising and recruitment events.
