TRANSforming Futures Fund

Aims/priorities:

TRANSforming Futures is a five-year project provided by the National Lottery Community Fund. It is managed by the TRANSforming Futures Partnership, which consists of LGBTQ+ organisations such as Consortium and Stonewall UK.

Funding is intended to support equality-focused projects which improve outcomes for trans people in the following areas:

  • Healthcare.
  • Criminal Justice.
  • Under 18s (relating to health and justice).

Who can apply?

Communities-led, grassroots organisations that are led by trans people are eligible to apply for this fund.

Broader LGBTQ+ organisations undertaking trans-specific activity that is being run by trans people will also be considered.

Grant amount:

There is a funding pot of £100,000

Grants of up to £25,000 are available.

Those looking for more than £25,000 should email the funders to arrange a meeting to discuss.

Guidelines and an online application can be found on the Transforming Futures Partnership website.

Deadline: The deadline to apply is 20 March 2023. Decisions are expected within 12 weeks.
