It has certainly been a busy month for our Tameside Development team as they mark another success, awarding local mental health support and awareness group, Live Great Adventures CIC, our Quality in Action Award! Our congratulations go to the whole team at Live Great Adventures after demonstrating excellence in every category of the award.

Live Great Adventures CIC, based in Stalybridge, provide support for people through a variety of indoor and outdoor events, groups and courses all focused around mental health, well-being and suicide education and awareness. Their mission is to create a safe haven for anyone in need and they have one goal in mind, to educate the wider community and provide them with the tools required to help those struggling in a mental health crisis.

The team at Live Great Adventures sent us this quote, thanking Community Development Worker Jon for his support;

"We're delighted to have received the Quality In Action Award, which we believe truly underscores our unwavering commitment to our community, service excellence, and robust operational framework. This recognition validates our efforts to ensure the safety of our community and volunteers, while also enabling us to foster meaningful collaborations with other organisations.

Live Great Adventures is making a significant difference in our local community, and this award not only strengthens our credibility but also fortifies our organisation's sustainability and lasting impact.

Thank you to Jonathan King for all of his support with this too."

The award recognises outstanding commitment to safeguarding, quality assurance and continuous improvement and is an independent, local seal of approval which publicly demonstrates to local commissioners, funders, beneficiaries and other stakeholders that your organisation delivers quality activities and services.
