The British Red Cross is delighted to announce the launching of a Family Reunion Integration Service (FRIS) webinar programme in March and we would like to invite you to join them.

FRIS supports families who have been reunited through refugee family reunion to access key services, central to their integration in the UK. The webinar programme is a culmination of the work carried out by the project over the past three years supporting reunited refugee families across the UK, whilst building an evidence base through research and service delivery.

The webinars will be an opportunity for the British Red Cross to share their learning from the project, highlight examples of good practice between the third and statutory sectors in this area and present their key findings and recommendations for progressive change in policy/practice across the key themes identified by the project.

The five webinars are scheduled across three weeks in March with each one having a specific focus identified by the project as being crucial to the experience of reunited refugee families in the UK:

  • Thursday 3 March, 10am -12:30pm – Integration of reunited refugee families in the UK
  • Thursday 10 March, 9:30am - 11:30am – Benefits system
  • Thursday 10 March, 12:30pm - 2:30pm  – Health
  • Tuesday 15 March, 9:30am - 11:30am – Housing
  • Tuesday 15 March 12:30pm - 2:30pm – Education
